Care and Use
All tableware is food safe, lead free, and dishwasher safe—however, gentle handwashing is advised. Microwave use is not recommended as it can weaken the clay.We do not recommend putting your pieces in the oven or on the stovetop. Ceramics can crack if they are shocked by extreme temperatures, such as going from a cold fridge to a hot oven.
Return policy
Returns
It is important to us that our customers are happy with our products. Because of the nature of handmade items, we regret we cannot offer refunds, however, store credit can be issued. If you are not satisfied with your purchase we will work to find you a perfect replacement. Because of the difficulty of shipping fragile items all returns must be in person in San Francisco. If your item was shipped to you and you are unhappy with the product please contact us at store@mishapenceramics.co and we can discuss solutions.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be returned to us undamaged, and in the same condition it was received. Items must be returned within 15 days of receipt of goods to be issued an exchange or store credit.
Rest assured that we would never send anything to you that is not what we consider to be a beautiful piece. There is variation in the glazes and those variations are to be embraced and enjoyed. If you have specific requests around particular glazes, we will do our best to accommodate, but offer no promises. Those beautiful flames that steadily run through the kiln keeps the outcome (at times) completely out of our hard working hands....the most wonderful thing about our work.
Damages and issues
All items are packaged with the utmost care so that they arrive safely. If your item arrives broken or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact store@mishapenceramics.co with pictures of the damaged item and the original packaging. We will do our best to remedy the situation.
Shipping
Shipping Method
Shipping is available to destinations within the United States. Items will be shipped from San Francisco, CA using UPS. Shipments will include tracking and insurance. Items will be mailed within 10 business days of purchase unless otherwise stated on the product page. If you would like to have your item sent rush or with any other special handling, please email us at store@mishapenceramics.co prior to placing your order.
Once the package leaves our studio, we are not able to access any information beyond what is available on the tracking page, and am not responsible for any delays or missing shipments.
Local Pickup
If you are able to pick up your items in person in San Francisco, you may choose the “Free pickup in San Francisco” shipping method during checkout for free pickup. I will contact you to arrange a meeting.
International shipping
Unfortunately due to the cost of shipping and fragility of items, international shipping is not available at this time.
